I'm sorry the only thing I have to post here after a few months of silence is a silly comic about my roommate's dog.

Next Friday, July 3rd, is the opening reception for YEAR 199X: A 90's Anime Tribute Show at Meltdown Comics! I was lucky enough to be accepted to submit work to the show, so here are the two pieces I've made! Both are for Digimon, since that was my all time favorite show as a kid.

I made this giant digivice out foam core. I hadn't made anything like it before, and it turned out pretty awesome!
This print will also be framed and hanging in the show, I wanted to do something cute with the season one team.
I'm REALLY EXCITED about this show, its the first gallery I've been a part of. It's the same weekend as Anime Expo, so if you're in Hollywood make sure to stop by!

Going to life drawing at Concept Design Academy is such a strange experience for me because everyone there is from painting backgrounds focusing on perfect anatomy and structure and here I am being a loosy goosy animator slapping down shapes and feeling out gestures.
I've had a stack of giant newsprint pads sitting in my car from all the life drawing classes I've gone to in the past year and its time to finally start posting some of the cool stuff buried in them!
The Model Drawing Collective at Titmouse recently did a Mad Max-themed figure drawing session, and here are some of my favorite sketches from it (ranging from two to ten minutes long).

Did this one a bit late, but this past weekend's episode of China was a really fun one to work on! I got to board all the Baby Cakes shots and scenes of Matt and Pemsy playing catch (on top of a handful of other things). WHAT A BLAST!

Here's a scene I boarded last year when I was working on season 5 of "Archer." I mostly did cleanup, but occasionally got the chance to board a short scene towards the end of the season. I was pretty proud of this one, simple as it was. Check it out!
